Description
Validation & Test Execution Lead and execute card‑level, system‑level, and rack‑level factory tool SDK validation and manufacturing test plans. Review Contract Manufacturer (CM) test results and prescribe additional board, system, or rack reliability testing as needed. Ensure comprehensive manufacture testing coverage in collaboration with Hardware Design, Quality, Software, and Manufacturing teams. Diagnose complex issues across embedded systems involving hardware, firmware, and software interactions. Manage bug lifecycles and work across cross‑functional teams to drive resolutions. Perform board‑level debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other lab equipment is a PLUS Ensure manufacturing readiness and seamless handoff from engineering to production. Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technologies to enhance efficiency, coverage, and throughput. Perform firmware verification and contribute to FW design/debug activities. Collaborate with operations, software, and hardware engineering teams to resolve embedded product issues across all development phases. 8+ years of relevant industry experience in firmware, or system engineering. 5+ years of proven experience in PCBA and system‑level product validation. 3+ years of hands‑on manufacturing test and diag experience within a production environment. Firmware, BMC/OpenBMC Network protocols Enterprise storage (internal/external) PCIe buses and devices IO subsystems CPU and memory architectures ACPI, UEFI specifications Redfish APIs Deep understanding of low‑level software drivers and kernel behavior. Demonstrated ability to debug factory tool and FW issue Experience with manufacturing test programs at platform/system level. Hands‑on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) is a PLUS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Systems Engineering, or related field. Excellent communication skills in English; able to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams. Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in fast‑paced environments. Experience with manufacturing FW debug and FW failure analysis. Familiarity with large‑scale server, cloud, or automotive embedded systems manufacturing. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
