The HR Director, Latin America is the senior-most HR leader for the LATAM region and a critical member of both the Americas HR Leadership Team and regional business leadership teams. Reporting directly to the Americas HR Leader, this executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing an integrated people strategy that advances business growth, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and culture across Commercial, Manufacturing, and Functional organizations throughout Latin America.
Serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives, the HR Director LATAM ensures talent, organization, and culture strategies are embedded into business decisions and transformation priorities. The role leads a regional HR organization supporting approximately 3,750 employees across eight countries and serves as the primary HR voice for LATAM within the broader Americas organization.

Key Accountabilities
Strategic Business Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to General Managers, Manufacturing Leaders, and senior leadership teams.
- Shape business strategy through workforce, leadership, and organizational decisions.
- Integrate people strategy into growth, transformation, and operational priorities.
Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation
- Lead enterprise-level organization design, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives.
- Drive organizational effectiveness, productivity, and operating model optimization.
- Champion large-scale change initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
Talent & Leadership Strategy
- Own regional talent, succession, and leadership development strategies.
- Build executive talent pipelines and strengthen organizational bench strength.
- Partner with global centers of excellence to accelerate leadership capability.
Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
- Drive a high-performance culture that aligns with company values and reinforces accountability, inclusion, engagement, and innovation.
- Utilize workforce insights and analytics to improve business and talent outcomes.
Risk, Governance & Compliance
- Provide demonstrable experience of employee relations, labor relations and compliance matters.
- Ensure proper management and development of labor relations strategy across multiple sites while directing relations with multiple unions.
- Influence and advise on organizational change initiatives related to automation, restructuring, new product launches, digital transformation and expansion.
- Partner with Legal team to mitigate people-related risks while ensuring alignment with local regulations and corporate standards.
HR Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR organization.
- Lead through leaders and establish a strong culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and care for customers, patients, and colleagues.
What You Bring
- Proven success serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence enterprise decisions and drive business outcomes through people strategies.
- Demonstrated capability to provide strategic and direct input to design multi-site, multi-function workforce plans, taking into consideration budgets, forecasts and business growth.
- Experience in understanding the impact and approach to analyzing labor cost, overtime, absenteeism, and staffing utilization metrics.
- Experience leading large-scale organizational transformation within complex, multinational environments.
- Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen.
- Executive presence, exceptional influencing skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Deep expertise across talent management, organizational design, employee relations, leadership development, and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated success leading leaders and building high-performing teams across geographies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Significant experience supporting commercial, manufacturing, and/or operational organizations.
- Language proficiency
- Spanish – Native/Bilingual Proficiency preferred
- English – Advanced Professional Proficiency preferred
- Portuguese – Professional working Proficiency preferred
- Experience leading HR teams across multiple countries and cultures.
- Healthcare, MedTech, Life Sciences, or similarly regulated industry experience preferred.
