Lease Pricing & Risk Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Manager: Lease Pricing & Risk to play a pivotal role in ensuring vehicle pricing remains competitive while effectively managing pricing and residual value risk. This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced professional who can combine analytical expertise with commercial insight to influence key business decisions and drive sustainable profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and managing vehicle pricing strategies to ensure market competitiveness and profitability.
• Analysing market trends, competitor activity and benchmarking data to support pricing decisions.
• Managing residual value and pricing risk across vehicle leasing portfolios.
• Conducting advanced data analysis to identify opportunities, risks and performance trends.
• Leading projects aimed at improving pricing methodologies, business processes and systems.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
• Providing commercial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Supporting the enhancement of risk management frameworks and pricing models.

Requirements:

• A minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in Analytics or Supply Chain.
• Essential automotive industry experience.
• Strong analytical and commercial pricing experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High levels of computer literacy.
• SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Proven experience in pricing, market analysis, benchmarking and risk management.
• Exposure to residual value management, vehicle pricing, leasing, fleet management or related environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects and driving process and system improvements.
