Traffic Center SC Team Supervisor

Overview

This role will serve as a frontline supervisor providing team leadership and functional expertise to Topeka Traffic Center.

 

Working Hours: This position offers a flexible schedule that may include a mix of 1st- and 2nd-shift hours, with 10- or 12-hour shifts, typically working 3–4 days per week. The exact schedule will depend on staffing needs and how the overall schedule comes together.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Support overall traffic center performance with focus on smart P&L decisions
• Drive Traffic Center safety/service culture
• Provides daily work direction to frontline associates
• Uses technical systems for reporting and analytics
• Leads daily performance meetings
• Conducts performance coaching, provides individual feedback, and issues corrective action
• Makes daily decisions impacting the business
• Handles all team performance and personnel issues
• Manages time and payroll systems

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $54,700 - $82,050.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Associates degree or equivalent background preferred
• Experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Operations Preferred
• 3 + years’ experience in Supervising Others Preferred
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Experience in Coaching and Monitoring Performance of Others – Take Others With You
• Able to Instruct and Teach Others
• Skills in Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Capabilities
• Knowledge of General Regulatory & Safety Processes and Procedures
• Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
