Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The CAAS Senior Associate will be a pivotal member of our client accounting and advisory services team, providing leadership and expertise in delivering high-quality accounting services to our clients. This role requires a strong foundation in US accounting principles, advanced technical skills, and the ability to lead and deliver high-quality output while working remotely.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the full cycle of accounting and advisory services from planning to execution and delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, mentoring and coaching them to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients to optimize their financial performance and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in client engagements.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices, and ensure compliance in client engagements.
Qualifications
Your Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in US public accounting or a similar client-facing role.
- Deep understanding of US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and practices, with advanced proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced in Microsoft Excel; required.
- Nice to have: Public Sector or Government Accounting Experience
- Onsite work in Makati required for the 1st year; Flexibility may be provided during typhoons, severe weather advisories, natural disasters, or similar emergency situations.
- Night shift required
