Reports to: Executive Chef | Full-Time | Exempt

Operational Duties:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and club facilities
• Anticipate the needs and wants of members and staff, ensuring readiness and enthusiasm at all times
• Be available, visible, and communicate effectively with members to enhance their experience
• Prepare and cook various stations on the line as required, ensuring efficiency and quality
• Check the readiness of the line before service begins
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and review daily menu items
• Develop and execute seasonal menus for à la carte outlets in conjunction with the culinary team
• Hold team members accountable to established standards and procedures
• Ensure all food production meets the club’s quality standards and specifications
• Expedite food during service to maintain smooth operations
• Adhere to the club’s standards for guest service and satisfaction
• Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end private member equity club - preferred
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative menus
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma 
• Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management - preferred
• Certified Sous Chef - preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and exceptional professional experience will be considered.

Physical Demands:

• In good physical condition to stand and work for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
