Cove Forge is seeking an experienced individual responsible for monitoring all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving our facility property.
Salary: Starting at $15.00

This position requires:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Basic computer knowledge for emails/charting
- Acceptable driver's license preferred, but not required
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for monitoring all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving facility property.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
- Keep accurate log books, as required.
- Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills.
- Communicate incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
- Monitor parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area and do frequent sweeps of the entire facility.
- Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
- Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor or a member of leadership.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid state driver's license.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
