About this role
As the SaaS and Technology Platforms Engineer, you are responsible for the management, maintenance, integration and adoption of the key SaaS services that are used by the group such as Office365, Atlassian, Okta, Mimecast, Entra & Slack. Key core infrastructure applications such as Exchange, Active Directory and file services will be administered and maintained by this role.
This team is responsible for designing and implementing controls aligned to policy such as data governance and data lifecycle, Single Sign on, identity, licensing, cost optimisation and automation within each SaaS platform.
Skills and capabilities required are specialist technical skills in core Microsoft technologies like Active Directory and Exchange, as well as specialist technical skills in each of the SaaS platforms the group consumes. This team will ensure that the significant investment that the group has made in each SaaS technology product is realised through adoption, integration, and automation of processes within these platforms.
About you
We're looking for a technology professional with at least two years' experience in IT and a strong understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud technologies.
You'll have experience managing and optimising SaaS services, ensuring they deliver value through effective administration, automation and continuous improvement. You'll also bring knowledge of data governance, identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), licensing and cost optimisation, helping to maintain secure, scalable and efficient technology environments.
You’ll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in an IT related discipline
Proven experience with the following technology types:
Microsoft Active Directory (Domain and Certificate Services), Exchange & AWS FSx
SaaS cloud solutions such as Office365 and related products (Code 2, Sharegate), Atlassian(Jira, JPD, JSM, Confluence), Okta, Mimecast, Slack
Okta (Directory, SSO, Workflows)
Interpersonal skills, such as stakeholder engagement, communication skills, active listening and customer service oriented
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated ability in managing technology projects, and vendor management
Ability to multi-task, challenge the status quo and adapt to changes quickly
Experience in administering management and monitoring systems
Professional IT Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator, Okta Certified Professional, ACP-120 Jira Administration for Cloud Certification (desirable)
