We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our Civil Construction business and play a key leadership role across significant infrastructure projects in the Waikato region.
Working closely with operational leaders, project teams, support services, clients, and subcontractor partners, you'll lead the delivery of health and safety excellence across all stages of the project. You'll help drive our Living Safely culture, influence positive safety behaviours, and ensure everyone goes home safe every day.
This is serious work with lasting community benefits. You'll be trusted to provide expert guidance, challenge unsafe practices, support frontline teams, and foster a culture where safety is embedded into everything we do.
If you're passionate about safety leadership, thrive in complex construction environments, and want to help deliver the Good Work we're known for, we'd love to hear from you.

Build trusted relationships with operations, project teams, clients and subcontractor partners to influence practical safety solutions

Strong judgement, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in both reactive and proactive environments.
Ko wai mātou | About us
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is more than what we deliver. It’s how we show up, how we work together, and how we care for our communities. We’re flat, friendly and forward moving. Titles matter less than ideas, and the best solutions come from people who are close to the work.
We take the work seriously, not ourselves. That means a relaxed, human culture day to day, and a sharp focus when it counts. Our people give back to local causes, support stronger communities, and help build infrastructure in smarter, more sustainable ways. If you want to be part of a team that backs each other, sets high standards and keeps moving forward, you’ll fit right in here.
How to apply
If you’re ready to lead with credibility, build strong relationships and help shape safer outcomes across our Civil business, we’d love to hear from you.
