Position Summary
The Corporate Senior Accountant fulfills a vital dual role within our organization. Responsibilities are split between working on our internal corporate financial infrastructure and direct participation in the strategic growth of a new QuickBooks-centered business line. This individual executes advanced corporate accounting transactions, manages the month-end close, reviews staff workflows, and coordinates directly with the CFO and VP of Accounting. Concurrently, they architect external client onboarding frameworks, track client project costs, and scale the operational delivery of our QuickBooks services ecosystem.
Who WE are…
Our organization is a 100% employee-owned organization committed to delivering exceptional service, fostering strong relationships, and creating a culture where everyone is empowered to grow, contribute, and succeed. We value accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional excellence.
Who YOU are…
You are an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys balancing internal corporate accounting with client-facing business development. You thrive in environments where you can build processes from the ground up, manage multiple software platforms, and use critical thinking to solve complex problems. An ownership mentality defines your work ethic. You are passionate about accuracy, process automation, and mentoring others. You are eager to step into a hybrid role that blends technical accounting with the strategy required to scale a new, QuickBooks-centered business division.
Expected Leadership & Practice-Building Competencies
- Mentorship & Development: Actively coach current and future internal junior team members, leverage individual strengths, and provide structured training on advanced accounting software and client frameworks.
- Collaborative Leadership: Champion an inclusive, high-performing team culture across both corporate and client-facing divisions; manage shifting priorities and change management with resilience.
- Strategic Communication: Build strong relational networks within and outside the organization; confidently partner with senior leadership (CFO and VP of Accounting) on personnel, client onboarding, and division constraints.
- Division & Practice Growth: Ability to spearhead a new business line, design onboarding workflows for external clients, and align service offerings with overall organizational strategy.
