WS Field Specialist - Well Intervention Services (WIS)
Location: Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico
Key Responsibilities
- Execute safe, efficient, and reliable Well Intervention Services (WIS) operations at customer wellsites.
- Mobilize, install, operate, and maintain well intervention equipment to support service delivery.
- Perform equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure all job deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with company and customer standards.
- Participate in job risk assessments, wellsite inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Adapt to field-based operations, including extended shifts, irregular schedules, travel, and overnight stays at remote locations.
- Continuously develop technical and operational skills to support career progression into Operator and Supervisor roles.
Requirements
Education
Technical degree or equivalent in:
- Electronics
- Mechanical Technology
- Electrical Technology
- Related Technical Disciplines
Experience
- 5 or more years of experience are desired.
- Experience in Oil & Gas field operations is preferred.
- Previous exposure to Well Intervention, Coiled Tubing, Nitrogen Pumping, Fluid Pumping, or related pressure pumping operations is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain oilfield equipment.
- Knowledge of wellsite safety procedures and operational standards.
- Experience operating fluid pumps, nitrogen pumps, or Coiled Tubing units is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform equipment installation, rig-up, rig-down, and lifting operations.
Certifications
- Heavy vehicle driving experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Crane (CT) operator certifications or related well intervention certifications are preferred.
- Required safety and operational training must be maintained and updated.
