What you'll do:

• Receive and steward waste container request.
• Maintain container tracking system to ensure that all containers rented to our site are managed efficiently and tracked.
• Communicate container moves to Solid Waste Shipping Coordinators.
• Work with Solid Waste Shipping Coordinator & verify box moves.
• Receive requests from complex personnel relating to spot boxes, pick up boxes, etc. and coordinate bin requests.
• Maintain a container inventory to verify where all containers are located.
• Coordinate bin repairs, overweight bins, etc. to the field technicians & Shipping Coordinators.
• Attending waste management meetings & providing updates.
• Maintain training on all applicable EOPs and Site Procedures.
• Cross train for OTR shipping.
• Meet all PSMS training and requirements.
• Help unit fill out container rental request forms.

What's required:

• 1–3 years in customer service, dispatch, or logistics (prior experience in waste management/environmental services is preferred).

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and customer portal or dispatch software and ability/willingness to work with new software (i.e. Google)

• Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant certifications or coursework in logistics/environmental fields are a plus.
