Salary: $130,000 – $192,500 Base + Equity
Company Description
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company using data, automation, and AI to modernize a historically inefficient part of consumer finance.
Its technology platform helps financial institutions manage complex consumer financial workflows more efficiently while delivering a more personalized and transparent experience for consumers. The platform has already supported billions of dollars in financial accounts and tens of millions of consumers, while delivering significantly improved operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Backed by leading investors and growing beyond its initial product into a broader financial technology platform, the company is looking for high-ownership operators to help scale its enterprise business.
What You Will Do
You'll join the Strategy & Operations team and take ownership of high-impact initiatives across client strategy, implementations, or compliance, depending on your experience and strengths.
- Own complex operational and client-facing initiatives from initial diagnosis through implementation and adoption
- Identify recurring problems and turn them into scalable systems, workflows, tools, and playbooks
- Partner with enterprise customers to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales, and Operations
- Use data and structured analysis to identify problems, quantify opportunities, and influence business decisions
- Build operational infrastructure that enables teams to move faster and make better decisions
- Translate recurring customer needs into recommendations for product and go-to-market strategy
- Automate manual processes and eliminate low-value operational work
- Depending on your track, own strategic client relationships, enterprise implementations, or compliance capabilities
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4+ years of experience across strategy, operations, consulting, implementations, or client-facing delivery
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing complex problems and owning solutions end-to-end
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships or complex client-facing projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn messy data into actionable business insights
- Proven ability to drive outcomes across teams without direct authority
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Strong academic background
Preferred
- Experience at a high-growth fintech, SaaS, or technology company
- Background in management consulting followed by an operating role
- Experience with SaaS implementations, system integrations, or technical consulting
- Familiarity with fintech, financial services, or regulated industries
- SQL, Excel, Mode, Looker, Tableau, or similar analytical tools
- Ability to independently build lightweight automations and operational tools
- Experience using AI/LLM tools to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000 – $175,000 base for mid-level candidates
- $170,000 – $192,500 base for senior candidates
- Competitive equity
- Hybrid work environment in New York City
- Relocation support considered for strong candidates able to relocate within 60 days
- H-1B transfers considered on a case-by-case basis
- Significant ownership over enterprise growth and operational strategy
- Opportunity to work directly across Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales, and leadership
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys the analytical rigor of strategy but wants to be directly accountable for execution and business outcomes.
