This key role is responsible for providing excellent customer service at the valet entry booth by greeting guests, collecting payments, capturing required customer information for valet ticketing, and supporting efficient traffic flow. This role may also require moving vehicles within the parking ramp to reduce congestion and prevent long waiting times.
This key role is responsible for providing excellent customer service at the valet entry booth by greeting guests, collecting payments, capturing required customer information for valet ticketing, and supporting efficient traffic flow. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Collect valet parking payments (cash and/or electronic payments) and accurately process transactions
- Record customer and vehicle information to generate and distribute valet tickets
- Answer guest questions regarding valet services, pricing, and retrieval process
- Monitor traffic flow at the valet entrance and coordinate with valet team to minimize wait times
- Move vehicles within the parking ramp as needed to relieve congestion or optimize space
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and balance cash drawer
- Communicate clearly with valet drivers and supervisors regarding vehicle locations and guest needs
- Ensure booth area remains clean, organized, and presentable
- Follow company safety, security, and customer service standards at all times
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions (preferred)
- Basic cash-handling and math skills
- Comfortable using tablets, computers, or ticketing systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Reimagined Parking participates in the E‑Verify program to confirm employment eligibility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to walk and move between parking areas and ramps
- Ability to drive vehicles short distances as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
