Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Position Summary:
Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology's Global Risk Analytics team is searching for a talented, seasoned and highly motivated Project Manager. Programs focus on building the next generation model development and execution platform including data sourcing. This platform will leverage a host of interesting technologies including Spark and Hadoop and utilize a unique, user-configurable, workflow-driven, model execution approach. Programs include data sourcing as well migration of models away from existing platforms to the target platform. This is a multiyear effort in a business-critical domain. Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is responsible for developing analytics to support risk modeling activities across all lines of business at the Bank. Uses include CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9 and other regulatory and management reports.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
- Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
- Leads delivery of multiple workstreams, in close collaboration with the users and technology teams to ensure milestones are on track
- Facilitates agile routines, including scrum-master, sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
- Creates UI mock-ups and other design diagrams per developers inputs to align user expectation with the delivery. Help improve user experience by aiming to deliver features that surpasses expectations
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management and prior experience as a Tech BA leading a significant technical delivery
- Good experience with Agile methodologies and toolsets (Atlassian suite, JIRA etc.)
- Ability to understand architectural concepts
- Strong expertise in planning, execution and reporting
- Proven track record of ownership and driving projects
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to understand the big picture and detail
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Project Management tools expertise
- Proficient in Excel, word and power point
- Experience in synthesizing complex data into actionable analysis and presentations to non-technical partners
Desired Qualifications:
- Scrum Master with CSM certification and excellent knowledge on Agile process
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
