As a  Technical Documentation Methodology Expert (f/m/div)  on our Documentation and Enablement Infrastructure team you will work hand-in-hand with our engineers, enable them creating top-level technical documentation and enhance the whole infrastructure related to technical documentation and digitalization processes. Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Create and maintain technical customer

documentation , such as datasheets, user manuals, application notes, process

guidelines, and customer instructions Support subject matter experts in transforming

technical input into clear, structured, and publication-ready documentation Pro-actively drive the documentation workflow from information creation through review, approval, publication, and external deployment Ensure the quality , consistency , and compliance

of published customer documentation according to Smart Power standards Maintain and improve the  technical documentation

toolchain , including authoring tools, review workflows, publication pipelines,

and output formats Support the  digitalization of Smart Power documentation  processes by driving structured content, automation, data-driven

workflows, and modern documentation technologies Contribute to the adoption of AI-enabled

documentation solutions , including Large Language Models (LLMs) , semantic

search, automated content generation, content validation, and content reuse Help connect technical documentation with the

broader  digital engineering ecosystem , ensuring interoperability between documentation,

product data, and engineering systems Provide guidance , training , and support to

stakeholders using documentation standards, tools, and workflows Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  A professional education in technical communication or a degree in industrial engineering , electrical engineering , computer science , or a similar field At least 3-5 years of professional experience in technical writing, technical editing, or technical documentation methodology A structured , precise , and quality-oriented way of working, combined with the ability to drive topics proactively Experience with structured authoring tools based on XML , HTML , or comparable documentation technologies  Good knowledge of XML technologies and documentation data models ; experience with DITA XML would be highly preferred Good understanding of documentation architectures , content reuse , metadata , taxonomy , templates , and publication workflows Knowledge of working with databases , data flows , content management systems , or documentation management systems Understanding of modern AI technologies , including Large Language Models (LLMs) , Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-assisted content creation workflows Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) , AI integrations, or similar approaches for connecting AI assistants with enterprise data and business processes Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical experts, tool owners, IT, Data Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders and a desire to work in an intercultural team Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German and French are a plus #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
