This position is accountable for the rework of parts that are required for the overhaul of the turbine engines and it's related equipment through the remanufacturing process utilizing engineering instructions in order to produce quality parts with maximum yield.
Responsible for various types of remanufacturing of parts that are inducted into the Reman area using shop floor instructions.
What you will do:
Perform rework and assembly operations per approved work instructions
Inspect components before and after rework activities to verify compliance with quality requirements.
Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve defects, drive root cause analysis and reduce scrap and rework.
Maintain complete part traceability and production records.
Utilize hand tools, measuring instruments, and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality requirements.
What you will have:
High school diploma or GED.
Manufacturing, machining, assembly, repair, or quality inspection experience preferred.
Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Basic computer skills and ability to accurately complete required documentation.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Summary Pay Range:
$45,809.00 - $68,713.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
