Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Special Products Lead based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
Lead the development and execution of special product and custom engineering projects, coordinating activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and service teams to deliver solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, establishing priorities, maintaining project schedules, identifying risks, and driving projects to successful completion while balancing quality, cost, and timing objectives.
Evaluate customer requirements and technical specifications to develop customized product designs, configurations, and engineering solutions that align with product capabilities and manufacturing processes.
Partner with internal stakeholders to improve quoting, product configuration, and order management processes, helping streamline the delivery of special products and enhance the customer experience.
Support product lifecycle initiatives, including new product introductions, upgrades, retrofits, and design improvements, while serving as a technical resource for complex engineering and customer challenges.

What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
3+ years of engineering, design engineering, product development, project management, or related experience.
Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
Project management experience with the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of engineering design principles, product development processes, and design change management.
Experience interpreting technical requirements, specifications, drawings, and customer needs to develop effective engineering solutions.
Proficiency with engineering design tools, product configuration systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical and operational tradeoffs.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and service teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
