Consultant Pediatric Anesthesia – Abu Dhabi

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized anesthesia care to pediatric patients and work closely with surgeons, pediatricians, intensivists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure safe and high-quality perioperative care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care for pediatric patients.Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and optimize patients prior to procedures.Administer general, regional, and sedation anesthesia according to clinical requirements.Manage pediatric airway emergencies and complex anesthesia cases.Provide appropriate perioperative pain management.Monitor patients closely during anesthesia and recovery.Collaborate with pediatric surgeons and other healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.Follow DOH regulations, hospital policies, and international standards of patient safety.Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing medical education.RequirementsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.Fellowship or additional training in Pediatric Anesthesia is preferred.Relevant experience as a Consultant/Specialist in Pediatric Anesthesia.Valid DOH License – Abu Dhabi is mandatory.Strong expertise in pediatric anesthesia, airway management, and perioperative care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Professional clinical environment in Abu Dhabi.Opportunities for continuing professional development.Multidisciplinary and collaborative working environment.
