## The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the comprehensive management of material flow across the facility, encompassing all stages from inbound receipt and verification to internal distribution and final outbound shipping. This role maintains the integrity of the inventory system through meticulous record-keeping and ensures production lines are continuously supplied while coordinating carrier logistics for finished goods.

## Your responsibilities will include

• Inbound and Quality Control: Executes precise verification, counting, weighing, and quality inspection of all incoming shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and invoices, including identifying, rejecting, and resolving discrepancies or damages with shippers.

• Inventory and Data Management: Utilizes handheld scanners and computer systems (ERP/WMS/SAP) to accurately enter and track material receipt and movement, maintaining real-time inventory accuracy.

• Material Handling and Movement: Safely operates various Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs), including forklifts, stand-up lifts, and tuggers, to unload shipments, transport materials to storage areas, and stage inventory for the production line. May operate specialized equipment like overhead cranes for handling steel or other heavy materials.

• Outbound Logistics: Coordinates all outgoing freight, prepares necessary documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading in systems like SmartTrak), and verifies, labels, counts, and loads shipments.

• Leadership: May direct and coordinate the activities of others during the unloading, processing, and loading of shipments.

• ## The Receiving Clerk role involves active, hands-on work in a warehouse or loading dock environment.

• Lifting & Carrying: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including high-visibility vests and safety-toed footwear.

## Minimum requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Ability to obtain/maintain a valid Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license (forklift, tugger, stand-up).
