A Day In The LifeManage day-to-day IT Telecommunications, hardware and software procurement, inventory, and related licensing administration, including requests, purchase orders, receiving, reporting, auditing, reconciliation, and billing coding. Maintain accurate mobile associate, device, and service data. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and responsibly use approved AI tools for high-volume, data-intensive tasks. Work closely with TFG Enterprise Procurement to understand and follow procurement processes and support sourcing, contracts, and vendor management.
As a Analyst II, Telecom Svcs you will:
- Ensure IT Stakeholders are up to date on status, risks, and challenges surrounding Telecommunications, IT Inventory, Purchasing, and licensing responsibilities.
- Create and maintain processes for mobile and data line ordering and activation, cancellation, associate and service records, financial reporting, billing coding, inventory, purchasing, and licensing. Monitor and improve Telecom and Procurement processes and ServiceNow intake forms. Continually identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and use approved AI tools for data-intensive work, with appropriate validation and controls.
- Collaborate with TFG Enterprise Procurement on sourcing, vendor management, contracts, and business continuity tasks. Maintain a strong working relationship with the Procurement team and a working knowledge of its processes and requirements.
- Monitor and analyze telecommunications invoices, credits, and related data to identify trends, savings opportunities, billing or coding issues, and anomalies.
- Actively participate in telecommunication budget process, requiring knowledge and understanding of budget, but not responsible for creating final budget.
- Projects and areas of responsibility research as assigned.
Telecom
- Monthly Telecommunications report highlighting financial variances and notable challenges and wins during the month.
- Identify unnecessary costs and services suggestions to business units.
- Monitor, reconcile, and code vendor bills to ensure accuracy and appropriate billing allocation.
Mobility
- Maintain accurate and current associate, device, line, status, and billing coding data across mobility vendors and internal systems.
- Provide monthly reporting on zero usage lines, high data lines, rate confirmation, new and canceled lines.
- Overall management of day-to-day vendor relationship.
- Ordering/cancel equipment.
Data Circuits
- Maintain Inventory of all circuits and lines across all vendors and all locations.
- Provide monthly change report.
- Circuit orders/requests – Send for bid, order, terminate and inventory lines.
Procurement
- Monitor and maintain stock and business continuity inventory including auditing.
- Oversee the daily activities of IT inventory and purchasing.
- Maintain IT hardware vendor relationships.
- Work with End User Computing to maintain hardware-purchasing standards.
- Work with TFG IT to purchase infrastructure equipment and licensing. Maintain and periodically audit software license and subscription records under IT Procurement, including quantities, ownership, costs, and renewals.
- Monitor and recommend changes to inventory and purchasing processes and requests.
- Work with End User Computing to provide timely access to approved purchased BU equipment.
- Ensure chargeback of all deployed hardware to appropriate BUs.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-4 years of experience in the field or related area or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, inventory management, procurement, and software licensing administration.
- Demonstrated analytical capability, including the ability to work with large data sets and reconcile information across systems.
- Ability to assess qualitative/quantitative supplier characteristics including: capabilities, sustainability of supply, business/financial strength, quality, and service.
- Knowledge of business operations and key factors impacting business successes.
- Understanding of process components and attributes. Identifies, prioritizes, and implements process improvement, automation, and appropriate AI-enabled solutions.
- Customer Orientation – Continually seeks to understand and act upon customer needs, concerns, and priorities.
- Expertise in relevant PC applications and systems required in the job, including but not limited to, Microsoft Dynamics AX

The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements10% The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business.
