The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

 

As a Production & Materials Planning Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead Supply Chain weekly reviews, where you will give updates regarding output vs forecast, production schedules, capacity and material constraints, backorder recovery timelines, and successes and areas for improvement
• Maintain strong relationships with critical suppliers to ensure high service levels on components
• Provide direction on manufacturing strategies to ensure alignment with supply chain and operation goals
• Improving key metrics like Backorders, Lead Time Adherence, OTIF, Inventory, etc.  These topics will require daily communications and participation in the Tier process
• Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
• Manage plant supply chain organization
• Develop and communicate supply plans through enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, reports, and cross-functional updates with production, quality, engineering, and other operational teams.

 

 

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university

(7) seven years of experience in supply chain, operations, or engineering in a private, public, government or military environment

 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

 

• APICS Certification
• Experience using SAP, creating Power BI reports, and utilizing Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience leading cross-functional teams

 

 

Work location: Onsite Irvine, CA

 

Travel: May include up to 10% [domestic/international]

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $143,200 - $196,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
