Job Summary

The Location President serves as the senior leader of the business and is accountable for overall performance, including revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, employee development, and operational excellence.

This individual leads all functional areas including Sales, Operations, Administration, Warehouse, and Field Management while creating a culture built on accountability, teamwork, communication, and execution.

Job Responsibilities


Business Leadership

·  Own the location's P&L, budget, forecasting, and overall financial performance.

·  Develop and execute strategic plans that drive sustainable growth and profitability.

·  Monitor key business metrics and implement improvements when performance falls short.

·  Identify opportunities to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and increase recurring business.

Sales Leadership

·  Lead and develop a high-performing commercial sales organization.

·  Coach sales professionals on business development, customer strategy, estimating, and account growth.

·  Maintain executive-level relationships with general contractors, owners, and key industry partners.

·  Support major project pursuits and strategic customer opportunities.

Operations Leadership

·  Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and with exceptional quality.

·  Partner closely with installation, warehouse, and administrative teams to improve execution and customer experience.

·  Drive operational consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments.

·  Resolve complex customer, project, and operational challenges quickly and professionally.

People Leadership

·  Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain exceptional talent.

·  Build a culture of accountability, communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

·  Establish clear expectations while coaching managers to become stronger leaders.

·  Foster collaboration between sales, operations, administration, and field teams.

Financial Management

·  Manage revenue growth while protecting gross margins and overall location profitability.

·  Review financial results, forecasts, backlog, and operational performance regularly.

·  Ensure disciplined management of receivables, customer billings, and operational costs.

·  Make sound business decisions that support both short-term execution and long-term growth.


Qualifications

·  Proven leadership experience with responsibility for business operations and financial performance.

·  Demonstrated success leading multiple departments and developing high-performing teams.

·  Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance.

·  Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

·  Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.


Preferred Qualifications

·  Experience leading a branch, division, or regional business unit.

·  Experience within commercial flooring, commercial construction, subcontracting, building products, or a related industry.

·  Background managing both sales and operations.

·  Knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, and construction operations.

·  Bachelor's degree preferred.
