The Company
The energy industry is entering one of the most significant periods of growth and transformation in its history. Meeting the nation’s growing demand for reliable electricity will require new ideas, new infrastructure, and talented people committed to building for the future.
At Cypress Creek Energy, we’re meeting that challenge by developing and operating the energy infrastructure needed to power communities, support economic opportunity, and strengthen resilience. We believe our responsibility extends beyond the grid and that how we build matters just as much as what we build.
That same commitment extends to our employees. We invest in professional growth, encourage collaboration across teams, and provide opportunities to take ownership, expand your expertise, and advance your career. Our culture is grounded in safety, accountability, respect, and a shared commitment to deliver results. Join us and help meet one of the most important energy challenges of our time while building a rewarding career.
Overview
The Manager, Enterprise Systems acts as the Director of Enterprise Systems' right hand — leading process design, documentation, small projects, FP&A reporting support, SharePoint site governance, and management of the team's software and vendor contracts. The role is designed with a growth path: as the person builds context and trust, they take on broader ownership across the Digital Enterprise function and act with the Director's authority in the Director's absence (e.g., during vacation or leave).
Responsibilities
Process Design & Documentation
- Build and maintain process maps and workflow diagrams in Lucid (Lucidchart/Lucidspark) for current-state and future-state business processes.
- Produce clear, well-organized documentation: process guides, standard operating procedures, requirements documents, and meeting/decision records.
- Partner with the Enterprise Functional Lead to capture and formalize process requirements ahead of system changes.
Project Leadership
- Lead small-to-medium cross-functional projects and process-improvement initiatives from scoping through delivery.
- Manage project timelines, action items, and stakeholder communication; escalate risks and blockers to the Director as needed.
- Coordinate with the Sr. NetSuite Developer and NetSuite Analysts on the business-requirements side of larger system initiatives.
Reporting & FP&A Support
- Work with FP&A to design and improve recurring financial and operational reports, dashboards, and data views.
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into specifications the technical team can build against.
- Identify opportunities to streamline or automate manual reporting processes.
SharePoint & Team Systems
- Own the reorganization, structure, and ongoing governance of the Digital Enterprise SharePoint site (information architecture, permissions, document lifecycle).
- Establish and maintain naming conventions, folder structures, and archiving practices so the team's knowledge base stays usable as it grows.
Software & Vendor Contract Management
- Maintain the master log of software and digital tools the team pays for: owners, renewal dates, cost, and usage.
- Track contract renewals and license counts proactively; flag upcoming renewals, unused seats, and consolidation opportunities to the Director.
- Coordinate with Procurement/Legal on renewals, new vendor onboarding, and contract terms as needed.
Deputy to the Director
- Act as the Director's delegate for day-to-day team operations and decisions during the Director's absence (vacation, leave, travel).
- Maintain enough visibility across all team workstreams (NetSuite development, analyst tickets, functional roadmap) to represent the team credibly in the Director's place.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between business users and the Digital Enterprise technical team.
- Support change management activities (e.g., documentation for Change Requests, UAT coordination) in line with the NetSuite Administrative Access & Change Management Policy.
- Contribute to a culture of clear documentation and process discipline across the team.
Education & Experience Required
Required
- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst, business systems analyst, or IT/business operations role, with demonstrated growth in scope of responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience building process diagrams/workflows (Lucid, Visio, or similar tools).

- Experience leading small-to-medium projects independently, including stakeholder management.
- Experience managing SharePoint (or a comparable intranet/document platform) at an administrative/governance level.
- Comfort owning vendor relationships, contracts, or renewals — even informally in a prior role.
- Advanced in Excel; comfort working with financial or operational data.
- Judgment and trustworthiness to operate with real autonomy and occasionally act on the Director's behalf.
