Laborer

About the Role

We are hiring a dependable Laborer to support daily warehouse and material handling operations. This is a hands-on, physically active position involving loading and unloading freight, moving and storing products, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on their feet.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Move products to designated storage areas using a powered pallet jack and other material handling equipment
• Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate locations
• Sort, pack, mark, and label materials and products
• Assemble merchandise and prepare products for shipment
• Check and count freight for accuracy
• Inspect products for damage or other issues
• Assist with physical inventory counts
• Assemble displays and complete specialty projects as needed
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and work areas
• Assist with general building and grounds maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, labor, production, or material handling experience is a plus
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to safely operate a powered pallet jack
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to read, count, and accurately identify products
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable and willing to work an assigned shift
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday
• Lift and move products weighing up to 40 pounds
• Bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Safely operate and mount/dismount material handling equipment
• Work around forklifts, pallet jacks, and moving equipment
• Maintain productivity throughout the shift
