We have 2x Junior Software Engineer opportunities within our Triage and Data Science teams:
Junior Software Engineer (Triage)
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Support, develop, and maintain enterprise Triage systems used to process and enrich service requests.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot application features to improve automation, data validation, and workflow efficiency.
- Support the implementation of cloud-based workflows, serverless functions, and integration services where applicable.
- Work with REST APIs, databases, and enterprise systems to enable seamless integration and data exchange.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, source control management, and automated testing activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles to aid long-term maintainability.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices related to security, scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Participate in application modernization initiatives and support the adoption of emerging cloud and software technologies.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s Level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and an understanding of cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development practices.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile development practices.
Desirable Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage Accounts, or API Management.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, automation, or modern software engineering practices.
Junior Software Engineer (Data Science)
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Contribute to data pipeline modernization and migration projects, ensuring seamless transition, data integrity, and minimal business disruption.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
- Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning/deep learning models to support predictive analytics and automation initiatives.
- Explore and implement Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions to improve business processes and decision-making.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices to ensure reliable and efficient deployments.
- Support, enhance, and modernize Triage systems by leveraging AI, machine learning, and cloud-native technologies to improve automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot application features to improve automation, data validation, and workflow efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data science/AI, computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and enterprise AI applications.
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development practices.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile development practices.
Desirable Qualifications
- Good foundation in statistics, data structures, and problem-solving.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector search, and RAG frameworks.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, automation, or modern software engineering practices.
