Location: Remote – Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Peru, or Ecuador
Type of Contract: Full-Time | Contractor
Salary Range: USD $2,000–$4,000/month, depending on experience

Our client is seeking a skilled Account Development Executive – Freight Broker with proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, and account development to join their growing team. You will play a key role in acquiring customers, managing commercial relationships, negotiating freight rates, and overseeing shipments from prospecting through execution. Your work will directly impact revenue growth, customer retention, and the profitability of their freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new customers through outbound sales, hunting, and business development strategies.
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of commercial accounts, with a strong focus on customer retention and revenue growth.
- Manage the full freight brokerage cycle, from customer prospecting and quoting through shipment execution and follow-up.
- Source and coordinate reliable carriers based on customer requirements and shipment needs.
- Negotiate carrier rates while maintaining established margin and profitability targets.
- Proactively communicate with customers throughout the shipment lifecycle and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop long-term commercial relationships.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker, Freight Account Executive, or similar brokerage sales professional.
- Strong knowledge of the logistics, transportation, and freight brokerage industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full freight brokerage cycle, including prospecting, carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and shipment execution.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and commercial relationship management skills.
- English proficiency at B2+/C1 level, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and manage multiple customers and shipments simultaneously.
- Results-oriented mindset with resilience, persistence, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with customers and carriers in the U.S. freight or transportation market.
- Existing customer relationships or an established book of business.
- Track record of consistently achieving revenue, margin, or sales targets.
- Experience working remotely with U.S.-based logistics or transportation companies.
- Strong understanding of customer retention, account growth, and commercial strategy.
