Description
The CAR-T Operations Resource Scheduler is an exempt level position working within Technical Operations team, responsible for scheduling the training and the staffing of the daily production of a personalized cell therapy to support both clinical and commercial requirements in a sterile cGMP environment. Job duties will be performed within a team-based environment, on an assigned production shift schedule.
What can you expect?
Here’s what you’ll do:

You will be responsible for scheduling operators across multiple units within the CAR-T manufacturing process, including Component Preparation, Manufacturing Support Operations, CAR-T Process, Fill & Finish, and Cryopreservation. You will ensure that resource planning aligns with standard operating procedures, batch records, and cGMP requirements to support safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with CAR-T Operations Supervisors and Managers to review staffing plans, identify potential resource constraints, and proactively mitigate scheduling risks to ensure business continuity. Through regular communication and operational oversight, you will help maintain optimal workforce allocation across manufacturing activities.

You will actively participate in short-, mid-, and long-term planning meetings to anticipate future operational resource needs and translate these requirements into effective workforce schedules. You will prepare long-term shift schedules well in advance, allowing operators to plan accordingly, and develop detailed weekly schedules to support daily manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate operator training schedules in collaboration with the Training Department, ensuring that onboarding, qualification, and development activities are planned efficiently. You will support the alignment of training curricula with job-specific tasks and verify that personnel meet the required training and qualification standards before being assigned to manufacturing activities.

Once operators are appropriately trained and qualified, you will schedule resources to support and execute CAR-T manufacturing processes in accordance with approved procedures and production requirements. You will also support the ongoing follow-up of training and qualification statuses to maintain workforce readiness and compliance.

You will build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including Training, Supply Chain Planning, QC IPL, Facilities & Engineering, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing activities, training programs, and maintenance schedules. By fostering effective cross-functional collaboration, you will contribute to smooth operational planning and execution.

You will attend daily operational tier meetings and monitor workforce deployment to ensure individuals are assigned appropriately and adhere to their daily production responsibilities. You will help drive compliance, operational efficiency, and successful completion of work-related tasks through accurate scheduling and resource coordination.

You will contribute to a collaborative and flexible team environment, supporting operational objectives while adapting to changing business priorities and manufacturing demands.
Who are we looking for?
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Bio-Engineering, Pharmacy or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year experience within a GMP environment, preferably in a scientific/pharmaceutical industry.
Languages

Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in Dutch is a nice to have
