Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for an Investment Company in Boston MA

Monday - Friday 400 PM - 1200 AM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; report access concerns and suspicious activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with visitors and staff, providing directions and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
