Description
## What you’ll do:
We are looking for a motivated and curious Apprentice to join our Information Technology team as an Azure PaaS Developer. This role is ideal for an early-career technologist who is eager to build cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and to develop deep, hands-on expertise in enterprise AI capabilities — with a specific focus on Microsoft Copilot Studio and the wider Microsoft AI ecosystem.
Working under the guidance of senior developers and architects, you will help design, build, and operationalize solutions and low-code/pro-code AI agents that solve real business problems, while learning enterprise engineering, security, and responsible-AI practices along the way.
- Assist in developing, testing, and deploying cloud-native applications and services on Azure PaaS (App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure SQL, and Storage)
- Build, configure, and refine conversational and agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio (topics, actions, generative answers, and knowledge sources)
- Integrate Copilot Studio agents with enterprise data and services using connectors, Power Platform, and REST APIs
- Support prompt design, testing, and tuning to improve accuracy, relevance, and safety of AI responses
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments using Azure DevOps and Git
- Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks
- Document designs, configurations, and learnings clearly for the team
- Follow best practices for responsible AI, data governance, and security across all solutions
