Job Description

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid Class B driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a valid Class B driver's license with Passenger Endorsement.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
