Let’s Talk about the Role

The Head of Distribution Center is responsible for leading all aspects of distribution operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective processes that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Accountable for the operational and financial success, this role oversees warehouse management, inventory control, staffing and continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Ensure On-Time Delivery: Deliver according to the established schedule (SLA's), maintaining high standards of timeliness and reliability. Oversee daily operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the Distribution Optimization team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop DC team to build a capable, competent team ensuring effective succession planning.
• Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee inventory accuracy systems and audits.
• Budgeting: Establishing a high-performance culture centered on financial management.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for DC operational escalations both internal/external stakeholders.
• Drive strategic short-term actions that influence long-term objectives.
• Innovation & Automation: Champion the adoption of automation technologies aligned with corporate business improvement initiatives.
• Partner assurance leads closely with Brand Planning organization to enable adequate labor capacity planning.

We are looking for an individual that can learn quickly and adapt to our culture, whilst bringing your own experience and ideas with you in order to help us drive the Distribution Centre, and our business, forwards, in a highly competitive and fast paced industry.

We believe the below will help you succeed in the role: 

• Proven logistics operations experience at a senior level, achieve site targets in service, quality, delivery, cost and people
• Solid experience in all areas of Supply Chain, Distribution and Logistics, exposure to the apparel/footwear industry preferable but certainly not essential
• Effective communication skills with both Czech and English, in order to effectively build relationships across the Prague site, but also across the whole EMEA region, our supply chain network and wider business community
• Proven track record of leading teams and people, adding value through mentoring, and training, creating opportunities for personal growth and driving engagement across the operation
• Highly skilled with a successful track record in continuous process improvement
• Excellent commercial acumen / business sense and strong project management skills
• A true leader with experience in maximising the performance in all operational areas

Kč1,635,920.00 CZK - Kč2,044,900.00 CZK

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
