Job Description
This role is responsible for portfolio data analysis, MIS reporting, and risk monitoring for Retail Credit. The position supports the team in strengthening credit policy & governance by providing clear data insights, identifying early risk signals, and ensuring effective portfolio oversight.
Job Description:
Develop and maintain portfolio trackers and MIS reports to monitor retail credit performance (e.g., loan growth, asset quality, delinquency trends).
Highlight abnormal trends, inconsistencies, or potential policy breaches / non-compliance risks.
Analyze portfolio data to identify risk trends, concentration, and key drivers.
Provide actionable insights to support policy review and business decisions.
Conduct basic trend analysis and forward-looking assessments to detect potential risk build up.
Identify early warning signals such as deterioration in loan quality or high-risk segments.
Monitor post approval portfolios to detect high risk developers, projects, or locations.
Develop and enhance dashboards (e.g., Power BI / Excel) for portfolio monitoring.
Present data in a clear and simple format for management and stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation aligned with governance standards.
Support reporting requirements for management, committees, auditors, and regulators.
Job Requirements:
Experience in credit policy & Governance, portfolio management, or risk analytics in banking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of credit risk metrics (e.g., delinquency, NPL, vintage analysis, roll rate) and portfolio monitoring.
Ability to use tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAS, or Python.
Able to explain complex data in a simple, understandable way.
