Job Title: Food Service Aide

Shift: Rotating (with every other weekend commitment)
Location: St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE
Position Purpose:
The Food Service Aide maintains general cleanliness of entire department including kitchen, storage and public areas and equipment.
As an “Food Service Aide” you will:
Maintaining general cleanliness of entire department including kitchen, storage and public areas and equipment.
Sanitation and maintenance of dish room and dish machine. Dish and pot washing and storage.
Proper storage and rotation of all foods and nonfoods delivered to the facility.
Assists with patient and cafeteria meal service, set up and break down as needed.
Responsible for the record keeping of dish machine temperatures.
Follows management/supervisory direction to ensure smooth operation and quality control.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalency (required)
Customer service oriented
Effectively communicates with customers, clients and management.
Able to work with minimal supervision or alone.
