Job Description:

Oracle SaaS Implementation and Solution Lead

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SaaS Implementation and Solution Lead to lead solution design and delivery across large-scale Oracle transformation programmes. This role is responsible for shaping the end-to-end Oracle Fusion SaaS solution, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, enterprise architecture principles, and delivery best practice.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role across the full implementation lifecycle, working closely with client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and third-party partners to deliver a cohesive and high-quality outcome. The role requires strong Oracle SaaS and wider Oracle Technical knowledge,  the ability to co-ordinate multi-discipline teams across a complex implementation landscape, and the credibility to engage confidently with stakeholders at all corporate levels.

In addition to delivery leadership, the Solution Architect will support the growth of the client account by identifying future opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships, and contributing to business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture Leadership

  • Define and maintain the overall solution architecture, ensuring alignment across business requirements, process design, data, integrations, reporting, security, and environment strategy.

  • Provide architectural oversight across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through to build, test, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  • Ensure the solution is scalable, supportable, and aligned with the client’s strategic objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

  • Guide design decisions, challenge assumptions where needed, and ensure consistency across all solution components.

Programme and Delivery Co-ordination

  • Work closely with programme leadership to manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, issues, and design decisions.

  • Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams and external partners to deliver an integrated end-to-end solution.

  • Support governance forums, design authority, and programme steering discussions with clear architectural direction and recommendations.

Third-Party and Consortium Management

  • Co-ordinate the work of third parties forming part of the wider delivery consortium, ensuring their outputs align with the overall solution and programme objectives.

  • Review third-party deliverables and designs to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to agreed architecture principles and standards.

  • Act as the central point of alignment across partner organisations, helping to resolve issues, clarify responsibilities, and maintain delivery momentum.

  • Build collaborative and effective relationships across all parties involved in programme delivery.

Client Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with client stakeholders at all corporate levels, from business leads and process owners through to senior executives and programme sponsors.

  • Translate complex technical and solution matters into clear, business-focused language for non-technical audiences.

  • Build trust and confidence with the client through strong communication, sound judgement, and a clear understanding of business priorities.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client on Oracle Fusion SaaS capabilities, solution options, and implementation approach.

Business Development and Account Growth

  • Support future business development within the account by identifying opportunities for additional transformation, optimisation, and value realisation through the use of Oracle Applications and Technology.

  • Contribute to the development of account growth strategies, proposals, and client presentations.

  • Leverage delivery insight and stakeholder relationships to help shape follow-on work and long-term roadmap opportunities.

  • Work with account and sales leadership to position the wider Oracle capability and support strategic client conversations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience delivering Oracle Fusion SaaS solutions in a Solution Architect or similar leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications and the broader solution landscape, including functional and technical architecture considerations.

  • Proven experience on large-scale implementation programmes, ideally involving multiple workstreams, complex stakeholder environments, and third-party delivery partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate multi-discipline teams and drive alignment across functional and technical areas.

  • Experience working within a multi-supplier or consortium-based delivery model.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation.

  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting business development, account growth, or follow-on sales opportunities within an existing client account.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.

  • Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and practical delivery.

  • Experience of governance, design authority, and architecture assurance processes.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience across key Oracle Fusion domains such as ERP, HCM, EPM, SCM, or CX.

  • Knowledge of integration architecture, data migration, reporting, security, and testing considerations within Oracle programmes.

  • Experience working in complex enterprise transformation environments.

  • Familiarity with structured delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.

  • Oracle certifications relevant to Fusion SaaS or enterprise architecture.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to bring clarity and direction in complex environments.

  • Collaborative and confident working style, with the ability to build credibility quickly.

  • Client-focused, commercially aware, and outcome-oriented.

  • Comfortable operating across both strategic and hands-on delivery discussions.

  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced programme environment.
