Regional Treasury Manager

Job Responsibilities

Lead regional cash and liquidity management

• Execute daily cash process, ensuring adequate liquidity and investment of excess cash.
• Develop and maintain 13-week rolling cash (receipts / disbursements) forecast in collaboration with local finance and operations to optimize efficient use of liquidity resources (cash balances, local credit facilities and term borrowings).  Be a driving force in a culture of cash.
• Support Global Treasury, Tax and Accounting and with cash repatriation activities and intercompany loans and settlements.
• Leverage working knowledge of regional banking, trade, and liquidity products and partner with regional finance, procurement and supply chain for execution.

Identify and manage foreign currency exposures

• Identify foreign currency cash flow and balance sheet exposures, including development of receipts and disbursements forecast by currency.
• Work with local business accounting and operations and Global Treasury to naturally or synthetically manage identified currency exposures.

Lead regional treasury administration, systems, controls and technology in collaboration with Global Treasury

• Develop, support and document treasury procedures and controls, serving as critical first line of defense to ensure regional compliance with global policies.
• Monitor and oversee existing bank account services and signatories including bank account administration for opening, migrating and closing accounts and maintain an organized and detailed file of regional banking documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulatory changes affecting treasury operations.
• Lead and manage treasury-related projects such as system implementations, bank account changes or enhancements and process improvements. 
• Serve as primary administrator on online banking platforms and local business leader of any treasury technology integrations.
• Support Corporate Treasury in managing and cultivating strong relationships with regional banking partners and take a leadership role in working with banks to identify and execute improvements.

Risk Management

• Manage relationships with local brokers, carriers and adjusters. 
• Administer insurance premium budget, allocations, invoice reconciliations, and payments.
• Provide asset and operational data to global risk management in local insurers/brokers.
•  Facilitate audits.
• Manage incident reporting, coordinate claims process, and support investigations.

Other

• Work with internal and external auditors.
• Manage regional card programs.

Job Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Have 5 years of progressive Treasury experience preferably with multi-national companies.
• Have 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Presence and ability to serve as the Company’s representative with local commercial banking relationships.
• Willingness to travel to business units within the region, as needed.
