The DCX Client Services – Home-Based Art Director

We are looking for an experienced Art Director to oversee the quality, efficiency, workflow, and creative output of its Art Department. This role will lead production art processes, train and guide artists and team members, manage art priorities, and ensure artwork meets client branding and production requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, production graphics experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and develop an art team. Experience in the promotional products industry is highly valuable, particularly experience working with production graphics, although direct industry experience is not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee the overall quality, efficiency, and workflow of the Art Department.
• Establish and maintain standards for art quality, branding, and production efficiency.
• Analyze and improve art processes, systems, and standard operating procedures.
• Train new artists and team members on production standards and best practices.
• Supervise artists by providing feedback, direction, and guidance.
• Prioritize art requests and coordinate the team to meet deadlines and turnaround expectations.
• Review artwork for format, color, quality, sizing, legibility, and decoration requirements.
• Create art proofs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Prepare production-ready artwork according to vendor specifications.
• Manage art requests through dashboards, trackers, and email.
• Create custom designs and layouts based on client or sales team requirements.
• Support virtual proof requests and coordinate licensing submissions.
• Maintain client art assets and uphold branding guidelines.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party artists.
• Monitor licensing approval status and communicate updates to sales representatives.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.  

Experience

• Professional experience in graphic design, production graphics, art direction, or a related field.
• Experience overseeing, training, or guiding artists is highly relevant.
• Promotional products industry experience is preferred from a sourcing perspective but is not required.
• Production graphics experience within the promotional products industry is particularly valuable. Client understands candidates may not have Facilis/Syncreo experience.

Language Proficiency

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Work Schedule

• Ability to work U.S. Central Time business hours.
• Monday–Friday.

Technical Skills

• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills.
• Strong Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Art preflight and production-ready artwork preparation.
• Understanding of vector and raster artwork.
• Color, sizing, resolution, and print-production requirements.
• Branding and brand guideline management.
• Creative layout and design.
• Art workflow and request prioritization.
• Strong computer skills.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

• Promotional products / branded merchandise production graphics is highly desirable.
• Experience with art proofs, decoration methods, production specifications, and licensing workflows is valuable.

WHAT WE OFFER

Salary Range: PHP 80,000/month
