Supply Chain Planner

C.H. Robinson is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Monterrey. In this role, you will work closely with a strategic customer, serving as a key link between the customer, warehouse operations, and our service delivery teams. You will be responsible for planning and managing customer orders, monitoring material flows, resolving operational issues, and ensuring the successful execution of supply chain activities.

This position requires strong logistics knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction. You will use SAP and Excel extensively to analyze data, create orders, track performance, and support operational decision-making.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Create, manage, and monitor customer orders within SAP.
• Download, analyze, and maintain operational reports and planning data.
• Plan and coordinate order execution with customers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Review order status and inventory information to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding planning activities, order updates, and issue resolution.
• Participate in regular customer meetings and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor operational processes and identify discrepancies between systems, including SAP and transportation management tools.
• Investigate service issues and coordinate corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with service delivery, operations, and customer teams to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
• Analyze data and performance trends to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support inventory visibility and planning activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Identify potential risks, delays, or supply disruptions and proactively recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate planning data and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain planning, inventory management, warehousing, or related fields.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience in supply planning, order management, transportation planning, or materials planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
