Support the Aero Cost Leader by analyzing spend, identifying savings opportunities, tracking delivery of cost-out initiatives, and providing accurate financial insights to enable informed decisions and ensure savings are realized.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Analyze labor, materials, subcontractor, overhead, and other operating costs to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
• Build and maintain cost models, dashboards, and savings trackers
• Support the development of cost-out business cases with data and financial analysis
• Track initiative performance, validate savings, and report progress against targets
• Work with operation execution, fulfillment, finance, engineering, Product Line and other functions to gather data and confirm assumptions
• Develop deep dive analysis across different value streams at fleet level (Repairs, Rotables, Engines, OFS) to identify main cost drivers and trends.
• Identify areas of overspend, inefficiency, or leakage
• Prepare regular management reporting and executive summaries
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis for cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure data quality and consistency in cost reporting
• Assist with benchmarking and comparative analysis across sites, teams, or service lines
• Fluent in the English language

 

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Advanced analytical and numerical skills
• Advanced understanding of cost structures in industrial or services environments
• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, data bases, reporting tools, and ideally ERP/finance systems
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills to explain findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Role Outcome

• The Cost Analyst helps the Cost-Out Leader by turning data into action, ensuring savings opportunities are visible, measurable, and tracked through to realization.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
