Warranty Manager

 Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a successful and well-established automotive retail group to bring you this exciting Warranty Manager position based around Preston. Working across multisites of dealerships, you will take responsibility for the overall management and performance of warranty operations, ensuring claims are processed accurately, manufacturer requirements are met and warranty income is maximised. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive warranty professional looking to take the next step into a senior group-level position, with a salary basic of £32,000 as well as additional incentives on top including an OTE of £40k and an additional £2k for a successful passed audit.

Job Duties Include:

• Take overall responsibility for warranty operations across the Group's dealership network.
• Lead, manage and develop Warranty Administrators across multiple locations.
• Ensure warranty claims are processed accurately, efficiently and within manufacturer deadlines.
• Monitor warranty performance across each dealership, identifying trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Maximise warranty income by ensuring all legitimate claims are identified, accurately documented and submitted.
• Monitor rejected, queried and outstanding claims, ensuring these are investigated and resolved promptly.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and warranty providers.
• Ensure all warranty processes comply with manufacturer guidelines, dealership procedures and relevant audit requirements.
• Analyse warranty reports, claim performance, rejection rates and financial data to identify opportunities to improve departmental performance.
• Provide regular warranty performance reports and updates to senior management.
• Work closely with Aftersales, Service, Parts and Accounts teams to ensure warranty processes operate smoothly.
• Ensure Technicians, Service Advisors and relevant dealership personnel understand warranty procedures and documentation requirements.
• Keep up to date with manufacturer warranty policies, technical bulletins and changes to warranty processes.
• Support the implementation of new warranty systems, processes and manufacturer requirements across the Group.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce rejected claims and increase warranty profitability.
• Provide training, coaching and ongoing support to dealership teams.
• Deal with escalated warranty queries and manufacturer disputes in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure accurate warranty records, documentation and reporting are maintained across the Group.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a Warranty Manager, Group Warranty Manager, Warranty Administrator or senior Aftersales position.
• Strong understanding of automotive warranty processes and manufacturer claim requirements.
• Experience working across multiple dealerships or locations would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to analyse warranty performance, identify trends and improve financial results.
• Strong knowledge of warranty audits, rejected claims and manufacturer compliance.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with manufacturers and internal teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Commercially aware with an understanding of warranty income, costs and profitability.
• Confident using dealership management systems and warranty platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Office and reporting skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence, with willingness to travel between locations.
