Position Details
- Position: Orthodontic Assistant
- Location: Saginaw, MI
- Schedule: Open to full or part-time opportunities
What You'll Do
As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the orthodontist and clinical team. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and patient care
- Take quality digital scans, photographs, and radiographs
- Educate patients and parents on treatment plans and oral care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards
- Set up and break down treatment rooms
- Monitor inventory and stock clinical supplies
- Assist with Invisalign cases, appliance delivery, and orthodontic adjustments
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Work collaboratively with both clinical and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow
The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment and providing compassionate, patient-centered care at every visit.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- X-Ray Certification preferred (required certifications welcomed)
- RDA preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required
