$59,066.00 - $88,599.00

Comply with AMC safety standards. Incorporate quality customer service into daily work. Communicate with dept/unit to achieve optimal outcomes. Manage email/telephone communication. Collaborate with others to optimize dept/unit activities/outcomes. Maintain dept/unit records. Coordinate requests. Communicate needs with preceptor. Report changes in service/patient status promptly to preceptor. Take action based on constructive performance feedback. Demonstrate safe and effective use of medical and office equipment. Comply with AMC professional image standards.

Provides care for low to intermediate acuity level patients.

Documents using the Nutrition Care Process. Able to provide initial assessment for patients with appropriate interventions/recommendations.

Reviews and interprets all information to assess patient including H&P, ED admission notes, medications, lab values, nursing documentation and progress notes. Becomes familiar with enteral formulary; able to identify uses for different formulas. Reads, discusses and follows policies/protocols/procedures. Able to provide diet instruction and appropriate material. Communicates and reports findings or changes in patient status to preceptor. Communicates assessment, interventions and effectiveness of interventions to Interdisciplinary Team. Takes action based on constructive performance feedback. Functions within the ADA Scope of practice. Identifies patient using two identifiers on ID band prior to patient interaction. Accesses preceptor for questions or with a new skill.

Identifies AMC QIT or committee for active participation.

Identify teaching and research interests.
