Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for partnering with leaders and managers to find the best global talent available to help the organization meet its diverse and important strategies and missions. We develop and execute effective and consistent talent sourcing and selection strategies to hire candidates for various positions ranging from leadership to entry level around the globe.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Global Recruiting Manager to lead a team of seasoned Global Recruiting Partners based in Abuja, London, and Nairobi, leading talent acquisition efforts across Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa), Asia (India, China, Korea and Singapore), and Europe, Middle East & East Asia (EMEEA) (Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UK), as well as additional markets as required. 

You will lead the development and execution of an end-to-end talent acquisition strategy across multiple divisions and geographies within the Foundation. Acting as a strategic talent advisor to regional leadership teams, you will partner closely with People colleagues and business leaders to anticipate talent needs and deliver against the Foundation’s strategic talent priorities. 

In addition to leading the regional recruiting team, you will personally manage and deliver senior-level and strategically important searches. You will represent and articulate the Foundation’s value proposition to engage, attract, and hire exceptional and diverse talent from around the world who can contribute to our mission. 

A critical component of the role will be developing and executing proactive sourcing, research, and talent-mapping strategies. You will identify, engage, and cultivate pipelines of senior leaders and individuals with highly specialized technical expertise, building talent pools that address both immediate and longer-term organizational needs. 

As a Senior Global Recruiting Manager, you will be a performance-oriented, collaborative, and trusted advisor who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will demonstrate sound judgment, operate effectively across complex and culturally diverse environments, and contribute to building and sustaining a high-performing, high-integrity culture. 

This role reports to the Deputy Director, Talent Acquisition and will be based in New Delhi, India. 



What You'll Do

  •  Sustain a high-performing culture by leading a team of tenured Global Recruiters. Foster strong team connection, align individual goals with Foundation priorities, and build a resilient, adaptable team culture that effectively navigates change while delivering exceptional results. 

  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to regional leaders, and HR partners by understanding organizational priorities and developing talent acquisition strategies to meet the division talent priorities 

  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain productive and strategic working relationships with the regional teams, hiring managers and other key collaborators 

  • Develop, drive, and implement talent strategies designed to diversify and expand the talent pipeline 

  • Engage key partners in talent strategy discussions, hiring meetings, headcount planning sessions, etc. to develop a deep understanding of each client’s position requirements to map role criteria, define position descriptions, and document specifications 

  • Guide, advise and influence stakeholders regarding hiring decisions and organizational development by providing talent insights, landscape data, competitive intelligence, and strategic analysis of the recruiting landscape 

  • Lead and creatively implement specific talent acquisition strategies as related to talent identification, candidate development, interviewing and selection, and offer negotiations at scale 

  • Collaborate with HR partners to understand how talent gaps and succession planning fit into your overall talent acquisition strategy 

  • Leverage data and analytics to build and execute against a rolling 12+ month hiring plan for executive and leadership roles 

  • Effectively utilize tools like Talent Neuron, LinkedIn etc. to map, target, and build lists of specific organizations and talent. Actively and continually build and maintain market knowledge and data to help advise talent acquisition strategies 

  • Share recruiting processes and best practices with the broader recruiting team 

  • Participate in special projects both within TA and across operations teams. Actively represent regional voice in varied forums, as required. Additionally, partner as a project manager in identified projects, as required  


Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related discipline and/or equivalent experience 

  • At least 10 years of talent acquisition (or relevant) experience, with minimum of 2-4 years of in-house experience  in the private sector, consulting, or nonprofit organizations, with a proven track record of managing complex regional and global recruitment across a broad range of functions and seniority levels in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. 

  • At least 2 years of experience leading executive-level searches, either in a search firm or in-house, coupled with deep sourcing expertise; preferably with a focus on identifying and attracting diverse talent 

  • Focus on action and outcomes with an ability to generate high-quality pipeline of candidates 

  • Experience identifying, defining, developing, and experimenting with innovative programs, tools, technologies, and processes in support of talent acquisition needs 

  • Strong collaboration skills and an understanding of how to navigate and operate within a complex, matrixed environment with the ability to work independently and develop creative solutions to a wide-ranging set of talent acquisition and business opportunities 

  • Experience using data and analytics to develop short and long-term hiring plans 

  • Intellectual quickness, curiosity, discipline, resourcefulness, and resilience 

  • Excellent judgment with a demonstrable track record to handle complex issues, multiple tasks, confidential information, and competing priorities with skill, discretion, a strong attention to detail, flexibility, and diplomacy 

  • Exceptional capabilities in collaboration and critical thinking 

  • Demonstrated project management skills in cross functional projects. 

  • A track record of building trust across individuals, teams and leaders, bringing rigor and resourceful creativity to complex talent challenges, and successfully adapting to shifting priorities and navigating ambiguity
