Description
At Eaton, we are looking for a Customer Service Engineer to join our Crouse-Hinds / CEAG business. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role supporting industrial customers across Spain and selected export markets in a ex-proofed.
Working in a 100% remote environment, you will act as the key point of contact throughout the customer project lifecycle, technical quotations, regular customer orders handling & order execution activities, and delivery follow-up. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, engineering experts, manufacturing sites, and operations teams across Europe to ensure a seamless customer experience.
This role combines technical customer support, project coordination, order management, and stakeholder communication within a specialized market focused on explosion-proof electrical equipment and power distribution solutions.
## What you’ll do:
- Review customer specifications, technical documentation and requirements to prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and translated into appropriate solutions.
- Manage customer orders for catalog material from receipt through delivery, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with customer expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution, providing regular updates on project status, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Support the sales organization by managing quotation follow-up activities and helping drive opportunity conversion.
- Provide technical guidance and product support for catalog material related to Eaton's explosion-proof electrical equipment and power distribution & control solutions.
- Coordinate drawing approvals, technical clarifications, and project-related communications between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and sales colleagues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with international teams across Europe, including engineering, operations, manufacturing, and customer service functions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and service quality.

- Strong technical understanding of electrical products, systems, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering documentation, and technical drawings.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Comfortable working in a remote and highly collaborative environment.
- SAP knowledge or experience with ERP systems is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Languages
- Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken) are required.
- French language skills would be considered an advantage.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical customer support, project coordination, customer service engineering, inside sales, or order management environment.
- Experience working with technical or engineered-to-order products within industrial markets.
- Experience supporting industrial customers and managing multiple stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
