About the role:

We are looking for 4 final year undergrads or recent graduates to join our team as a Software Engineer Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the software development field. 

As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering team, learning the fundamentals of software development in a supportive and collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience with the technologies shaping modern software — from TypeScript, React, and Node.js to AI tools and the cloud.

What will you be doing:

• Learn and apply modern web development with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Get exposure to deploying solutions on AWS or Azure.

• Explore how AI tools can be used to improve real applications.

• Work alongside senior engineers, gaining experience in debugging, testing, and real-world development.

• Be part of a supportive team environment, contributing to real but intern-friendly projects.

What can you bring to this role:

• Some knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React and Node.js.

• Interest in cloud computing (AWS or Azure) and AI.

• Exposure to other technologies (like .NET or Python) is a plus but not required.

• A curious mindset, good communication, and teamwork skills.

To be eligible for this role you must:

• Have completed study (within the last 12 months) or be currently studying Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Be studying at NZQA qualification level 6-10
• Have not previously been employed by Aderant in a FT position
• Have not undertaken more than 2 pervious internships at Aderant

The pay rate for this role is $29.90 per hour for the duration of the internship.
