Responsibilities & Requirements
The MFM Ultrasound Tech performs advanced obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, specializing in high-risk pregnancies to support maternal-fetal medicine care. This role ensures high-quality imaging, assists with specialized procedures, and provides patient-centered education and support to optimize patient safety and outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent education and clinical training in ultrasound technology.At least 1 year of experience performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations.Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required at hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in maternal-fetal medicine or high-risk obstetric imaging. Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification.
