Summary:
This position supports operations in ensuring use-ready and compliant facilities and utilities, including advanced troubleshooting, completion of preventive maintenance, and the completion of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and GMP-related documentation. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist II provides feedback and recommendations to management on relevant topics including the planning of maintenance work, project management tasks, and the investigation and resolution of unusual situations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works as part of a team to complete a wide variety of tasks ensuring facilities, utilities, labs, and cleanrooms are in a use-ready, compliant state.
- Monitors, responds to, and corrects issues that trigger Building Management System (BMS) alarms.
- Interfaces with customers, vendors, and team members in support of facility initiatives, work requests, or other duties as assigned in a collaborative, professional and timely manner.
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary for facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Provides guidance and coordination to team members and trains staff on elements of the facilities maintenance trades.
- Assists management in planning and scheduling preventative maintenance work and recommends approaches to preventative maintenance programs.
- Orders and stocks supplies, spare parts, and equipment.
- Completes CMMS entries and required training activities.
- Travels between facilities to support all functional areas.
- This position has On-Call responsibilities, including during natural disasters or inclement weather.
- Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
- Minimum of two years of cGMP experience required.
- Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
- General understanding of MEP, HVAC, refrigeration, and laboratory environments
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team, and independently.
The hiring rate for this position is $26.73- $30.07 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
