Job Description:

Experience: 5-8 Years 

What You'll Be Doing

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for design and development of real time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software application.
• To Analyse domain specific technical or low level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement.
• Participate in high level requirements analysis, High level and low level software design 
• Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement including manual and automated
• Performs code review following coding guidelines and static code analysis
• Troubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.
• Documenting technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle. 
• Follow defined process for software Development life cycle 
• Develops software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project.
• Develop new approaches to complex design problems.
• Responsible for mentoring and training juniors as per the project requirement.

Job Complexity:

• Incumbent generally works under broad supervision and has ability to solve complex problems arising during the flow of work 
• Incumbent can work on complex concepts and implementation 
• Incumbent has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline, possesses strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of complex problems, and analyse possible solutions using standard procedures. 
• Limited guidance and direction is provided.

 
What Are We Looking For

• Must have Knowledge of AOSP build system, AOSP workflow and cross platform development of Native Applications.
• Must have Knowledge of Android Framework, Android System-Vendor services, JNI, AIDL, Se-policy rules in Android framework.
• Must Have Knowledge of Android HIDL for vendor specific modules such as Cameras, Wi-Fi, BT, GPS, 9 Axis Sensors, Battery etc.
• Strong knowledge of Android porting on various platforms and Device based customization of UI and Backend services.
• Experience in working with different embedded platform with processors from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel or similar
• Must have programming skills with C++,JAVA/Kotlin, Shell script
• Experience in working with development tools like GIT, SVN, JIRA, Android studio etc.
• Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, analytical mind set, perfection seeker.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
