Australian Venue Co. is looking for experienced Gaming Managers to join our teams across Queensland.
We currently have an opportunity at: Tom's Tavern.
As Gaming Manager you will take ownership of gaming operations within venue, working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver strong commercial results, excellent guest experiences and consistently high compliance standards.

About the role
As Gaming Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading daily gaming operations and maintaining a strong floor presence
Driving gaming revenue, performance and agreed KPIs
Reviewing results and identifying opportunities to improve performance
Supporting gaming promotions and customer engagement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with Queensland gaming legislation and responsible gambling requirements
Maintaining harm-minimisation and self-exclusion procedures
Managing operational audits, cash controls and reporting
Recruiting, training, coaching and developing gaming team members
Working closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team
Delivering a welcoming and responsible experience for every guest
About you
You’ll ideally bring:
Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member
Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs
Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills
A hands-on leadership style
Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends
Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates
Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them
A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
Customer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essential
