## Your Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst - New Product for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Des Moines, IA, you will:

The preferred location for this position is onsite in Des Moines, IA. At the discretion of the hiring manager, the role may also be based at a John Deere facility in the Quad City area (IA/IL) or Waterloo, IA. For locations outside of Des Moines, regular travel to Des Moines is required. During the initial onboarding and training period, an increased onsite presence in Des Moines will be expected.

  • Work with cross-functional Product Line Management Teams to develop cost and investment estimates for new product programs.
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare AFEs for new product programs.
  • Work with teams throughout program life to track product cost and investment spending to aid in the management of program goals.

## What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of finance/accounting experience
  • Experience in financial analysis, including financial modeling
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders (within and outside of Finance) at various levels of the organization
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal skills

## What Makes You Standout

  • Knowledge of Deere product cost theory and systems
  • Understanding of Profit by Product, structure lines, and normal volumes
  • Experience with PowerBI / other data analytic tools

## Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
